Mary Cavanagh - Treasurer

Mary Cavanagh is originally from Amityville, NY. After moving to Greenville, SC, she completed her degree in Accounting and began working in the financial and management fields where she specializes today. She relocated to Mount Pleasant, SC in 2018 with her husband, RJ, and daughter, Chloe (5th grade.) They attend church at Saint Benedict’s and they enjoy spending time with friends and exploring all of what Charleston has to offer.

Heather Koepenick - Mentor

Originally from Orlando, FL, Heather moved to Charleston in 1999 to study business & accounting and play volleyball for the College of Charleston. She and her husband Chris live on the Isle of Palms with their two children, Rory (5th grade) and Connor (3rd grade). They attend church at Stella Maris and enjoy going to the beach, boating, and playing any kind of sport.

Acts of Kindness Chair- Angie Cherry

Angie is originally from Maryland and met her husband, Shane, while in nursing school at the University of Pittsburgh. After moving around a few times (Miami Beach, San Antonio), they landed in Mount Pleasant in June 2022 and are putting down some roots! They have two kiddos, Danny (4th grade) and Rebecca (2nd grade). The Cherry’s are excited to start their second year at COKSM and are happy to be part of the great community here and in their parish of St. Clare of Assisi. They enjoy the simple things in the lowcountry and love to do anything outside.
